Hello, i'm new here beceause i have an issue with my NAS an Asustor AS-5004T + RAM 8GB + HDD 4x3TB
My NAS doesn't power on (the powwer supply is ok) any more since the update of ADM.
[Firmware Update] Updating firmware from 4.0.6.RCR1 to 4.0.6.REG2.
I would like to contact the Asustor support but i forgot my password:
- the system doesn't allow me to reset my password because i didn't register my Asustor ID
- the system doesn't allow me to create a new account because this account already exists
I can't have any support from Asustor by now.
Could you help me to fix these issues?

1. No LEDs at all?
2. How did you test the power supply?
3. You can try contact them from the General Enquires https://www.asustor.com/about/contact_f ... iry_type=3

Re: Hello my NAS failded to power on after an AMD update
Hello,
1. the power led and ethernet activity led are off but the disk and ethernet connection leds are on.
2. I tested the power supply with a multimeter
3. Thanks for the link (I didn't know it). I still can't connect to the support interface and can't reset my password.
I found some other people with failure power on after the power off.
I think it's similar to my issue: after the update, the NAS powered off and failed to power on

I have no answer from Asutor and i can't access to my account to contact the support.

At least when i had an issue with a competitor NAS without warranty, they fixed the hardware issue and paid half the fees.
Asutor could you find a solution?

You just have to wait for their reply. Note this is a community forum, Asustor's staffs don't really hang around here

after a month of waiting, they still don't provide any support. I can tell they don't care about their customer.
I'm disappointed.
Head to the trash for this NAS.
Anyway, thanks for you help.

Yes I did.ilike2burnthing wrote:Did you follow up with them? Messages can be missed.
I just tried again but i had this information: your message must contain at least 10 words.
So this time the interface therefore refused to send my message.
I can't definitly recommands to buy an Asustor NAS
