Hi all, just bought a new drive, a Seagate 3TB. When I try to add it via the Storage Manager > Volume Setup Wizard, I receive an error that says;
Hard disk abnormality detected. An error occurred during volume creation. (Ref. 5051)
Does anyone know what this means? The drive is brand new. Thanks.

Is your drive on the compatibility list for NAS/Enterprise use?

Also, the drive size is being shown as; 3.86gb in Storage Manager, with a usable 1.82gb ?!?
Maybe the drive is stuffed.
