Create a Domain controller
Instead of just joining a domain I'd like to be able to create a domain, and use the Asustor as a DC. maybe even have multiple Asustor devices as DCs. I have 4 devices in my house and i'd like to synchronize accounts between them, but i don't want to have to create a domain controller outside of the NAS.

Just an idea. Windows Server virtual machine hosted under VirtualBox. Will it work?

Assuming the vm suggestion could actually work, wouldn't it constitute a waste of system resources of something like epic proportions?
