Hello. I'm new here and I can't wait to start reading.
I got my first Asustor but I can't do what I thought I could do, put it online, on the public internet (of course port protected and behind a firewall), on a
public IP and using DNS.
I shouldn't have to explain further as all you Asus gorus should already know this...
The device seems to be 'novice ready' to use DDNS... and not anyway to hardcode anywhere, at least no where could I find, a place to
enter in the domain: IE: myasusdevicenas.com which of course is routed from it's public DNS A record IP to the firewall and SNAT1:1 to an internal
IP of ...oh, lets say 10.0.0.150
Anyone have any knowledge why this seems to be so difficult to do? or is it impossible without fudging the internal numbers?
Thanks!

If you are talking about "public IP and DNS", you should setup your DNS record and configure your firewall manually.
If you are talking about DDNS, there are some ways. I guess you mean the DDNS setup on ADM web page. Here is the information that might be helpful. https://www.asustor.com/en/online/Colle ... ?topic=224
