Phishing email via Asustor

When I first registered for Asustor I created an email address on one of my domains just for Asustor. It was asustor@ my domain.
This address is for Asustor only and not used anywhere else.
Yesterday I received an email addressed to asustor@ advising me to check my bank account and provided a bogus url to do so.

This indicates that Asustor either gave out my address to others or the Asustor email database has been compromised. Either way it is a serious security breach and needs to be investigated.

For me the solution is simple. I will erase the email address from the domain and it will cease to exist. For those with fixed addresses it is a more serious problem.
