Looks Good - Media Converter for AS 3xx

Please add support for the "Media Converter Function" to the AS 3xx Series, even if it is slower than 5xx/7xx.

This is probably not in the cards.... The CPU in the 3xx series isn't as robust as the 50xx and 70xx series are. Take a look at the link in my signature. It compares the various Asustor's NAS's abilities to transcode with Plex Media Server. This does take you to Plex's Asustor forums, so it is an external link.

Keep in mind that Plex's requirements for CPU are different than other software packages.

Because the AS 3XX has already transcoding functionality, it may be possible to include the media converter function, even if it is not as fast as the other models...
