Every time my NAS reboots it needs to run an fsckext4 (or something similar) on my USB external Raid 5 enclosure. As this device is 10TB+ it takes almost an hour. There must be some way to prevent this from occurring EVERYTIME the server reboots.
I could understand if this drive were reporting errors. It is NOT.
Please make this configurable in the ADM. While we are at it, can we also add some SMART drive tools to the ADM for USB drives, to monitor the health of external drives?
No need for disk tests on startup.
