[HOW TO]Synology/QNAP Apps on Asustor NAS

Is it possible to install Synology 3rd party apps or QNAP 3rd party apps on the Asustor AS-608T? Please explain how if it is able to be done.

No. The apps have to be compiled for the Asustor NAS.

OK, so how do you compile a program for the Asustor NAS?

I have one I need compiled and no clue how to go about doing it...

this is not possible. Each OS is different. this is not so easy.

You need the source code for the program. Asustor, Q-NAP, and Synology alll run linux varients. You will need to understand how to compile software as well as get the Asustor developer software found at developer.asustor.com.
