Newbie here, so i apologize in advance if this has been raised in other posts.

Is there a roadmap to integrate iCloud backup?

I use the PC iCloud Control Panel to point folders to my AS-202TE so I can backup and upload files from iCloud.
However, this would mean I have to turn on my PC to download from iCloud to backup to the NAS (kinda redundant really)

It would be a great feature if the "PC" side of the iCloud Control Panel is integrated into the NAS ; if so, having the ability to sync multiple iCloud accounts would be an added benefit as I'm sure most people have at least 2 accounts.

I understand there are existing Asustor apps for iOS that can be used to transfer files. But for the most part, iCloud is just a convenient app that is already running in the background - especially for "setting and forgetting".

As a side note, is there a way to create an automated backup routine that copies the iCoud backup folder to another folder within the NAS?
For example, I want to create a monthly backup of files synced from iCloud as per above and have this date stamped or something identifiable.
Additionally, have this process backup in 2 monthly cycles and delete the oldest months data?

I've looked at RSYNC and may be possible to create a NAS > NAS backup - where I can transfer from MYNAS > (MYNAS IP ADDRESS).
But not sure if there is a canned backup process already built.

Just to add to my previous post.

With iCloud 4.0, it also allows syncing of iCloud Drive (which has been posted as a request previously)

There is a youtube video which I followed that allows me to sync multiple iCloud accounts to my " PC" - which is in fact pointing to folders on my NAS.
So i have my work Ipad, my daughters iPhone and wifes iPAD all backed up to the NAS.
I have tested successfully by taking a photo on the iPAD and within a minute or so, the photo is shown on the NAS.

This works fine, but of course the need to turn on the PC is still required

Lastly, to answer my own question with regards to backing up using RSYNC - this also works fine.
Basically create an RSYNC backup rule to point to your own NAS IP address (make sure you enable RSYNC first and associated folders, user rights etc.
This allows you to schedule backups daily/weekly/monthly and copy from a folder to another folder (or Volume in my case).
