How to create a symbolic link - detailed help is requested
It would be incredibly helpful if someone provided detailed instructions on how to create a symbolic link in both a PC and MAC environment so that photos and other media can be linked instead of copied to a specific location for a program like Photo Gallery to read. Is it possible to log into the NAS using ADM and entering the symbolic link? Is it necessary to use a Program like Putty for Windows? What programs are available for Mac OSX?

in OSX when do command ln I must be in a target folder ?
