Bought me a Asustor 602 after reading some good reviews.
Trying for starters to setup an iscsi volume on my mirrored NAS.

Maybe that aint a good way to go, cause its a 3 TB mirror.
And when I make a iscsi volume of half the diskspace it tells me the volume is 15TB.

If I change the numbers for the iscsi volumes it keeps giving me back these outragous volume numbers.

a well maybe I should forget about, cant find anything on the internet that resembles this issue.

Anyways wanted to see if it can be a good multimedia hub

Hello Tuscck,

The behaviour on iSCSI LUNs is by design and also used by other NAS suppliers. If you need more information on over-allocating your LUN, you can find it here: http://forum.synology.com/wiki/index.ph ... allocation. Tou could also just use the space left on your disk.

I checked on my AS-304 and I can use an 8TB LUN even though I have only 1.7TB left.
