Hello,
I noticed just now that the Asustor XBMC is built without libCEC support (which is enabled by default in XBMC). I had assumed that the support would be built in, but it was not.
I have managed to build the kernel module required (cdc-acm.ko) and compile libCEC for the NAS, I can communicate with my USB CEC adapter but it will not load in XBMC.
The device I'm using is this.
I would very much like to see support for this compiled into XBMC!
If that is not possible, I would like to build my own XBMC with support built in, but that one is a though nut to crack!
Regards,
Mathias

Re: Enable support for libCEC in XBMC
Sure, I'll keep you updated. I'm currently using a python daemon I quickly threw together that listens for the CEC events and sends keypresses to XBMC. It works well but I'm still interested in seeing how well the built-in functionality works.soilderco wrote:Hi
