App Central outage.

Can't install apps on App Central (network error). Can't even view asustor.com/apps (database error). About two months ago there was an outage for many hours on myasustor.com. Please can you reboot the servers or whatever it is. And I think you need to have a bug reporting section on this forum. Many bugs don't relate to ADM. It could be apps or internet services not working. Also I think you should have a status page on asustor.com. If there is a problem with asustor services at least we will know.

so do I, connection timeout on App Central, just thinking whether this is my own issue, or it is a server outage?

Recognizing same outage. No downloads possible via http://www.asustor.com/service/downloads?lan=en due to database error, no App Central.

Could be possible that servers are being updated for release of ADM 2.1 and new/updated apps, which hopefully are going to be announced on Jan 6.

It would be nice if a status page showed why, if known, the servers are down and an expected up time.

New users unable to connect to servers when trying to setup their system would find this very disappointing.

I got my brand new AS-302T delivered two hours ago. It's up and running. I'm down and waiting :-(

BTW I don't think outage is because of upcoming update cause normal download web page reports database connection error...

I'm in the same boat as you Fwhamm, I got my Asustor AS-302T on the 2nd of januari. I've been unable to download apps until now.
Also no reply, notification or anything from Asustor Support. Very poor service if you ask me. :( :x

Good service and support is important to me. I'm seriously considering returning the unit on monday and buying a Synology product instead.

Hi,

same issue here.
was able to access App Central on Friday 3rd Jan, but not possible anymore today on the 4th.
Is indeed a bit disappointing if this is not announced in a normal way...

I do find more hick-ups already, so indeed maybe better to reconsider another product..

hi,

have some issues around couch potato (freezing up) for example. Not sure yet what is causing this, so still exploring and ruling out all possible issues..
