VLC or just a simple media player

in last days i've tested xbmc (as-304t) and of what i can see is working very well.

but what i really miss is a simple media player like VLC.

i don't like so much xmbc or that type of OS player (with covers..).

it would be a great idea to use the nas just with vlc: you navigate to the folders...and just choose the file you want to play.

yes, would be definitely useful!
for me, picking the right movie by browsing folders works fine enough too..
