SNMP support
I would like to see SNMP support (default Linux MIB) for the Asustor NAS. We use QNAPs at the office at this moment, they have builtin SNMP so we can monitor the health of these NAS systems. Having SNMP support would make the Asustor more suitable for business use.

Re: SNMP support
Sounds great - tonight I was looking for this feature on my Asustor NAS as well...
It is good to see that others also miss this feature and that Asustor will enhance the ADM with this feature within the coming months...

Re: SNMP support
I have got it working but adding it to ADM would be a big plus.
In short, install Optware ipkg from app central. Use ipkg to install net-snmp.
Change the provided conf to fit your needs, create startup script.

Re: SNMP support
Hello Shawn.S@AST,
The second quarter has almost passed. I know you are busy with the upcoming release of AMD and hope you have some time to answer my question. Will SNMP be available in the upcoming ADM 2.2 as this is an enterprise feature? We won't replace any QNAPs until Asustor NASses support some kind of remote monitoring.
BR, Kapitein Haak.

Re: SNMP support
Bump,
This is a feature that most businesses would like to have in place for monitoring purposes. I my self have a 606t and i am pleaased so far, but one of the first things I started looking for was snmp support so i could integrate it with my monitoring system. The optware solution is kind of a "dirty hack" and I would like it better if this was supported "native" from Asustor.
Is there any update on the status regarding adding snmp support?
