Media Database System/Ice Films

OK two requests. A media database system, perhaps integrated with Boxee.

I will be migrating over 1000 DVDs, it would be nice to look at what is available in something other than file browser (eg What John Wayne movies have been added)

Looking at collectorz dot com type software if I have to do it offline, or the PHP4DVD web style.

Secondly icefilms dot info is a online database system for available media. This would be a great add for boxee as well

Did you take a look at Plex already? You can use its desktop search function, type in John Wayne and it will list you all movies with this actor. With 1000 movies I'd expect you'll notice a time lag until you get the results. However, as soon as Asustor will have updated the current Plex app (there is already a new and improved version issued by Plex which promises to respond considerably quicker) you will notice an improvement in performance...
