Hi everyone
I got a Lockerstor 8 and made a RAID 10 volume with 4x 4TB drives.
I only want to use it for iSCSI storage, so I created a LUN and want to use 100% of this volume for the LUN.
But it won't let me create one using all the space (it keeps 500MB free). This is because I can only specify size in GB.
And it persistently moans about the volume being full. I didn't use thin provisioning.
Is there a way to turn this warning off?
Thank you!
How to disable warnings for full volume on iSCSI LUN volume

Re: How to disable warnings for full volume on iSCSI LUN volume
Even if I make the LUN 500GB smaller than the disk it still moans.
What on earth is the point of moaning about a LUN taking up the whole disk? When it's iSCSI, the NAS doesn't even manage the content, so doesn't even know if the disk is empty or full. It should just recuse itself in this case.
