Considering the loudness of the 22TB Purple Pro HDD that I tried out in my Dell Precision camera computer at home, I thought maybe I'd install the drive in an Asustor AS5402T NAS for our gun shop camera system to use as storage. Maybe run a 6TB SSD for the New video/clips on my desktop, and then move to storage on the NAS at a certain space limit set on the SSD. That way I can store the loud Purple Pro in another room.
Has anyone used the Asustor or set up a NAS in a similar fashion? Any other recommendations or issues I may be missing?

You're going to struggle to find a 6TB SSD.
Assuming Blue Iris is your CCTV software, does it have the capability to move data between drives? If it does then all you should need is to map a shared folder on the WD Purple as a drive on your desktop PC.

Yeah... I meant to say run 6TB of SSD in the computer with RAID (3x 2TB).
