New to Asustor....not new to comuters....

Hi people! I just joined your community for fun excitement and occasionally help.

My first computer game was Zork, the original, on cassette no less.
I have come a long way as I am creating this on an Asus G834JY laptop.

My storage journey with nas devices started with D-Link DND323 devices, and graduated slightly along the way going to Alt-F OS but they were getting pretty long in the tooth and with a media server now, keeping everything backed up got to be a juggling act that stressed me to far lately...which isn't really hard as I live with a very severe kind of PTSD (Complex) I recently lost some data because well - between A and B I lost track of what I was doing....need to fix that....

So on to a new AS3304T V2. A bit of juggling, shut this down, add a drive and at last, plenty of storage, and no endless fighting to keep my mixed environments (Windows, Linux) backed up.

I use Emby media server and installed one instance on the AS330 already.

I also use Lyrion (formerly Logitech LMS - formerly Slim Server) Media Server for my near ancient Squeezebox devices. If anyone else (with lots of patience) does or could help me set it up on my Nas it would be appreciated. It's fine where it is on my Mint Cinnamon box but you know - new toys - gotta play with them.

***Because of my mental health challenges I may be absent and not reply for a while sometimes AND I may struggle with simple things at times and ask some pretty dumb questions, but that's me, the guy who puts on his glasses so he can find his glasses sometimes....
