FTP Folders (with user rights).

Most FTP servers I've used for decades, offer up giving a default $HOME for the FTP connection, meaning the user logs in and can only see/work with the $HOME folder given.

Request to have a Shared FTP folder that when used and connected to a user, the FTP server will use that as a default $HOME. Some services don't support writing to where ever the default path is! (Seriously, where is it?)

I don't use ftp from years ... only sftp (ssh), and share (samba and sshfs)

BUT if you want a fully configurable based on your whish, you can get in Entware APKG lot of ftp server
proftpd
pureftpd
lftp
vsftpd
... etc.

BUT this require that you manage yourself the server and access ...
