NB for my usage, it's WD Red series ...

I have two 12TB WD Red Pro which I chose because they were on a good offer at WD and are supposedly faster than the 12TB WD Red Plus. Either will do a good job and so would the Seagate Ironwolf. I would buy whichever is currently cheapest.
