Hello, I'm newbie to the forum and I didn't find a similar topic. I have the following problems and questions.
I have a NAS Asustor AS6702T. I'm trying to copy the information from the old HDD that was attached to the same NAS as a single, but now I want to copy everything from it to the new HDDs or SSD that are currently installed. But when I try to do this, it gives me the following error "No space left on device" (please see attached screens with the error). Everything was done according to the instructions on the Asustor website. And my other question is the following. I want the SSD disk to be my main system disk for reading and writing and the other 2 Bays to be RAID and is it possible if the disk in Bay 1 is a MyArchive type disk to be RAID with the other HDD in Bay 2. And can I do this after the SSD is installed after the two disks, and one is Single or I should do the initial install with SSD again?

We'll need screenshots from Storage Manager to be able to go any further.
If a drive bay is used as MyArchive then that's all it is; it cannot be part of a RAID. Also bay 2 needs to be the MyArchive bay. Bay 1 cannot be configured as MyArchive unless bay 2 is as well. There's usefull info on MyArchive at https://www.asustor.com/admv2?type=2&subject=9&sub=75 and https://www.asustor.com/en/online/Colle ... ?topic=255
If you want the SSD to be the system volume then you really need to do that first.

Please review the attached screenshots from Storage Manager.
If I reconfigure the SSD drive as primary/single disk type, will I be able to add a RAID SSD drive to it and can I just add MyArchive drive afterwards and read the information from it?

If you mean convert your single SSD to RAID1 then yes, it's the same process as for HDDsserpentiny wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 11:29 pm Please review the attached screenshots from Storage Manager.

Yes, your existing MyArchive drive should be fully readable.

Okay, that's OK, but right now the problem is that I can't copy my data from a hard drive that was a Single/main HDD and thе "One touch backup" function doesn't work. So please review my configuration screenshots and tell me what to do to use this feature and copy the entire hard drive.

Your configuration looks good to me. Just to confirm, is the drive you're trying to copy attached by USB and you're trying to copy it to the MyArchive drive? I ask because that's what the OTB screen infers but you've not specifically said that at any point.

Yes, that's right, I tried to copy a disk previously used HDD as the primary/Single to the same NAS and it's attached by USB(I tried both the front and rear panel USB inputs). It doesn't matter which destination I use, whether MyArchive or a location on the primary disk (Single), the error I posted above immediately appears.
