Hi All

Post by jean »

Good day from Singapore

I am the happy owner of an AS1102T.
I would like to replace one of the HDD, but could not find the information on how to ensure the reconstruction will not happen from the new HDD to the existing one but from the existing one to the new.

Cheers,
jean

If the new disk is new or at least empty then there won't be any problem as it won't be formatted in a way the the NAS will recognise. The only way there could possibly be a problem would be if it came from another Asustor NAS and had the same volume number as the one it was replacing.
