FTP Server
Is it possible to allow custom locations for the FTP Server? I would rather not have my entire network drives available to FTP and rather just websites.

Re: FTP Server
Hi there,
Yes, it is possible. What you have to do is to limit the access rights for the user.
For example, you can limit the user (e.g. Dave) who can only access (Read & Write / Read Only) the "Web" shared folder, so when "Dave" logging in via FTP, he will only see the "Web" folder. Is that what you need?
Cheers,
Buzz

Re: FTP Server
a must-have for me that a NAS should can is to stream MKV files to my TV or Tablet.
Will the ASUSTOR NAS solutions provide support for streaming mediafiles like MKV?
If not, is it possible to install other Media Servers like Twonky Media on the NAS?

Re: FTP Server
Have you tried "UPnP Media Server 1/2", "Plex Media Server" or "MiniDLNA"? As I know, those servers should work with many players. You should try them to see if your TV can work with them.coolgee6 wrote:a must-have for me that a NAS should can is to stream MKV files to my TV or Tablet.
