Hi Guys
Looking for a bit of advice and apologise if this has been answered before, couldn't find anything via the search bar.
Also apologise if this isn't the correct section to post this.
I've got the AS6602T and have used it for over a year now. Since the middle of February i have been experiencing a monumental amount of drop outs on my home ISP ( Virgin media uk)
After a massive amount of work by virgin media and myself, we have narrowed it down to the NAS causing the Internet drop outs, but that's as far as i know how to go. we have done a lot of studies over the past month and a half and every time the NAS is disconnected from the network, the internet stops dropping.
any help would be gratefully appreciated for the next step of problem solving
NAS is making my ISP connection drop out

Re: NAS is making my ISP connection drop out
Anything happening on your NAS at the time of the dropouts, e.g. download and/or uploading at high speeds and/or for a prolonged time?
How is your NAS connected to the internet, e.g. NAS > ethernet > Superhub, or is there a switch, wireless, is the Superhub in modem mode and you're connecting to another router?
Have VM looked at SNR, in particular at the time of these dropouts? If you're riding close to the limits, maybe they're peaking under load.

Re: NAS is making my ISP connection drop out
Hi @ilike2burnthing
1, Majority of the time there is nothing going on with the NAS, Virgin media are detecting between 70 and 400 drops a day with the majority being for a second or 2
2, NAS has been connected in various ways over the past few months, NAS>Switch>router.....NAS>Router.....With a mixture of one or both ethernet ports used
3, Router is in modem mode with other router bridges connected further along the line. majority of testing has involved things being disconnected and re connected to isolate an individual piece of equipment that could be causing the issue.
4, VM have been all over it, they have basically done a complete fresh install from the cabinet to the router, all new wiring etc
Thanks for taking the time to reply

Re: NAS is making my ISP connection drop out
I had this instance where a faulty power adapter of a 5 port 2.5G switch that cause havoc to my LAN, crashing the router every 15 mins or so when the NAS with adaptive load balancing is connected to the switch. I would suggest to test with a different switch and/or router (better ones than provided by the ISP if possible). Or you can also test isolate the NAS directly with a PC without the router or switch see if the link gets similarly disrupted.
