Hello Community,
I am the very proud owner of an AS6706T, which I have just set up this weekend - Its completely different to my WD PR4100, but I'm getting there.
I do have a problem with HTTPS, I have got the certificate from Lets Encrypt, I've made it the default, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Have I missed something in the setup? I have a vague recollection that I might need to use DDNS, but can't find that information.
If you can forgive my ignorance, any guidance would be appreciated.
Simon

Re: Newbie Question on HTTPS
Yes you need a domain (paid or free DDNS) to match the certificate. Go to Settings > Manual Connect > DDNS and set it up. If you're new to this, just setup using myasustor.com so yours will be https://yourCloudID.myasustor.com. Remember the cert needs to match this domain so probably you'll need to create a new matching cert if not done so.

Re: Newbie Question on HTTPS
Hey Nazar78,
Thanks for the really prompt response.
I'll give it a shot - I think I created a cert without the DDNS step which would explain why it doesn't work.
Much appreciated
