At present I’m using Netgear readynas units. I have 16 WD Red Pro 6TB HD’s in service + two spares. I am considering replacing the Netgear equipment with two Locksor’s. One being the AS6510T + another 4 or 6 bay unit. Looking at the comparability list I see the WD Red Pro 6TB HD’s are not listed (much to my surprise) for the AS6510T, or for many of Asustor’s NAS units.I really don’t want to go out and purchase another 16 to 18 HD’s.. My question is does anyone know for sure if the WD Red Pro 6TB HD’s will work in the Asustor NAS units…

Re: AS6510T & WD red Pro HD’s
Usually it should work because the compatibility list is too vast to cover everything but you should contact Asustor ask them directly if you're concerned https://www.asustor.com/en/about/contact_us.
