I was able to resolve this issue by powering the unit off, then disconnecting from power (unplug) for a few minutes. Upon restart full functionality of the LCD Panel.

LCD Panel not working
For some unknown reason the LCD Panel on my AS6604T stopped working. The pixels and backlight would not light up when any of the four panel buttons were pressed, or when the unit was powered off or on.
I was able to resolve this issue by powering the unit off, then disconnecting from power (unplug) for a few minutes. Upon restart full functionality of the LCD Panel.

Sounds like a hardware issue. You should check if the wire to LCD is connected tightly. Or you should send a support ticket to asustor to check it.
