Hi
I use a 24TB enclosure ( 4x 8TB ironwolfs in Raid 5, so 24TB netto ) via USB3, so I could move it to my weekend house for watching bluray copiies. works perfect attached to a 2bay synology unit. now I would like to upgrade to 10Gbit/s Network Speed and buy an AS4002T. The Question is, will the ASUS NAS take my 24TB USB3 drive via the USB3 port ?
I ask because I had to upgrade my old synology nas to a newer model as there was a16TB Limit.
Thanks
Gary from Vienna

Re: AS4002T max. HDD size via USB ports
It depends. If your USB box takes care of RAID function and the file system on this box is recognized by asustor ADM (for example, ext4, fat32...), yes, asustor NAS should be able to mount it from USB port automatically. AS4002 should be 64-bit CPU, so it should be fine (>16TB).
