Rename annoyance in File Manager

I hope this is the proper thread for this. When I rename a file within File Manager, I am immediately returned to page #1 of the folder I am working in. This is annoying as I frequently have from tens to several hundred files to rename and I currently have to page forward several pages to return to the page I am renaming files in after each and every rename. I would like to see File Manager stay on the current working page instead. I'm not sure this is a feature, oversight, or bug. Whichever it is, it's a pain in the ass.
