When you use a ASUSTOR 202TE in combination with SMART TV (in my case SAMSUNG UE40F6500), movies (1080p) were not running smoothly via HDMI, using XBMC... image seemed to skip a few frames every 5 sec. Initially blamed the NAS, but when I turned OFF the MOTION PLUS movies run smooth again.
Not sure what causes this... maybe TV processor can not keep up?
After updating with ADM 2.1, changed output to 1080 24hz. and tried again with motion plus. Seems this combination also works.
Bottomline, smart tv can influence image quality negatively although settings expect it to improve the image quality...
