Hi,
Please help to add a virtual keyboard when working with Chrome using AiRemote. Currently, there is no way to input the URL when using AiRemote alone.
Regards,
Preston

AIRemote has a keyboard button on the bottom. If you don't see it try swiping to the left. I thought the same thing but stumbled on the keyboard quite by accident.

It do help if AiRemote can pop up a virtual keyboard when user click on the address bar to make the tools more user friendly.
Just make the user experience more consistence with other mobile device. Like when we are using chrome in android, by clicking on the address bar, a virtual keyboard will pop up to let user type in the URL.

Well, I don't think the app can really tell that you clicked on the address bar as it is a remote control. I don't see a way that what you ask can be done. I'm good with the way it is now. I'd like a tablet version with better graphics. Maybe put more controls on one page.

AirWeb is developed which exactly solve the problem.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/airweb- ... 93993?mt=8
Just think if Asustor wants to make user experience difference, this may be something they need to work harder.

That's great but it is a browser specifically written for appleTV that has it's own iPhone app that controls it. The Chrome browser on the Asustor NAS is Chrome for Linux not a broswer app written for the Asustor.

Actually I think you will find it's a browser ON THE MOBILE DEVICE entirely as looking at the page, you set airplay mirroring to ON.
The app isn't controlling the Apple TV at all, neither is any browser running on the Apple TV - it's just streaming the Image from the iPhone
If and when XBMC will support AiePlay mirroring (there are already commercial programs that can - google rplay reflector or air server) then this exact app will work just fine
