Hello,
i plan to buy a Asustor AS-604T, but i've got some questions about the HDD to put in. I currently have 2 ST2000DM001 in RAID0 in my gaming PC, which is too much just for gaming (~3.7To). So i wonder if it was relevant to buy (for the moment) 2 others ST2000DM001 to make a RAID5 with 4 HDD, and add 2 more of them later (1 for RAID5 and 1 spare), or it is more sensible to buy specific NAS HDD (WD RED/GREEN/AV-GP, Seagate NAS HDD/SV35/CS)?
Anyone has some feedback about the consumption, temperature, mb/s, problems with any of these hdd? I know that the WD RED is a musthave but...
Thanks

Re: HDD for 604T
For me, I will go straight to either WD red or Seagate NAS drives which are more reliable for raid in NAS.
