Smart albums feedback and suggestions for development

I enabled the beta smart albums for people and first off let me say.... it is good! we have got approx 250GB (33,000 files) of photos (some video and other media) and after what was a multi day long time (to be expected) of the NAS scanning all the photos we have finally got there. I have done a couple of scans through the faces that it has grouped and we have about 3600 face groups. I have identified about 70 people that I have named (We are a kids camp so I have identified our staff but not all the leaders or campers) and I thought that I would give you some feedback and suggestions

Scan - it takes a long time which is understandable, a progress bar/something would be useful.
Faces - I am pleasantly surprised at what it does identify as a face, sometimes I look at the photos and have to find the face that it has identified, Well done!
Naming - The naming process is quite good. I was happy when I discovered that you did not need to go into each face group to name it. sped up the process
Returning to the same place in the faces - I really (really!!) appreciate that you go back to the same place in the face list after you have looked at the individual photos! great work!

Development Ideas
1. Checked and ignored faces - Have a way to mark photos as not important or ignored. each time I go back in I need to scroll through hundreds of face groups that I have already checked. If I could mark them as unimportant, checked or something then have a checked groups that keeps all the faces in their sub groups I could go back and name them if I needed to
2. New photos - I am a little hesitant as to the process when I add new photos, because of #1 and having to look through all the current photos. Is there a way to have a "New People" group with the new faces as sub groups
3. Names - good to have named photos at the top but can we PLEASE have them in some sort of order? the simplest just alpha order of the name would be great!!
4. Can we have a drop down of all the names that have been entered when you are identifying a new face you can pick from what you have already entered, makes sure you use consistent names
5. Progress bar for face identification
6. Change the thumbnail for the person - some of the auto selected thumbnails are not good photos! it would be good to be able to pick a good photo
7. Number of photos for each face (stretch goal) - a number of each face showing how many photos there are in the face group. Would be interesting to see who has the most photos
8. Thumbnail sizing (Stretch goal) - resize the thumbnails to be able the speed the scrolling process

What is important? for me critical is #3 and #1! without these features then the smart albums faces are going to quickly get ignored because it is just too frustrating. then #2 and #4. and then the rest.

I suggest you raise a support ticket and copy this post into it. Asustor staff are rarely if ever in the forum but I'm sure they'd like feedback on a beta product.
