Thanks for your reply. In the meantime, I tried something which seems to work. My NAS is connected to a powerline device plugged in mains. Although all its LEDs were green, I unplugged it and plugged it back, and now it works... Before the ezconnect already worked, so maybe this uses a protocol which was not crashed on the powerline device, while other protocols were crashed. I don't know, just thinking... Thanks anyway.

If you'd mentioned the powerline device in your initial post I'd have suggested resetting it as the first thing to try. I've found them quite unreliable as well as slow.

Sorrygzapper, I'm confused... From your posts it looks you can access my NAS? Or maybe I misundwerstood?
Also what do you mean with 'reset the USB ethernet hub'?

You definitely misunderstood.
The USB hub is probably connected to his Mac to provide Ethernet connectivity as it's not built-in. I have to do the same with one of my Windows laptops.

Sorry snapshot, I'm still confused, what do you call the 'USB hub'? I have no USB in my setup. Is it the powerline device? Sorry I didn't mention it in the first place, as I assumed it was not the culprit, but I was wrong...

I'm referring to gzapper's USB Ethernet hub that you asked about him resetting. At no point has it been suggested that it's yours.
