ASUSTOR Community Forum - Delete Account?

Hi there...

I was grateful for this forum when I had my Asustor NAS, but it has been years and I no longer use these devices. Is it possible to delete my forum account? I looked everywhen in my profile and couldn't find 'delete account' anywhere. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

A few options:

• abandon your account and never come back to the site; or
• change your email address to something non-existent, your password to some 100 random character mess, and remove any identifiable information, then do the above; or
• ask an admin to delete it - generally on any forum admins/mods are very reluctant to do this outside of extraordinary circumstances, especially if deleting your account would also remove all posts, as it can break links to threads and the continuity of others, potentially erasing valuable information for other members
