I was wondering whether CPU and even more DRAM on the AS-304T release enough power in order to smoothlessly play HD video streams, especially heavy files such ISO BD of 40 and more GB....
I noticed that most of the competitor tend to suggest to expand RAM from 1GB to at least 2 or even 3 GB.
It would be a real shame, since this model is the only one with an optional remote control !
many thanks for your kind reply.
I have a couple of extra questions/doubts regarding multimedia functions:
1. Is the system/XBMC supporting all the typical media player “secondary functions” such as: “changing audio options on the fly”, external subtitles like .srt, audio and frame sync, zoom, etc. ?
2. Can those functions be handled directly by the remote control ?
All functions in XBMC can be directly handled with the remote control. XBMC supports many of the functions that you described, like a typical media player. I have attached some screenshots of some of the menus and functions for your reference. The first two screenshots are menus from when a video is being played while the last one is from a settings/configuration menu inside XBMC. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of what to expect with XBMC.
