Hi,
Can we please have a good, and free, multimedia streamer with support for mobile devices?
There is Subsonic and Plex, but booth of them is either free or we have powerful device enough for realtime conversion
Subsonic could be replaced by a fork like madsonic.org or at least a good "how to" so we can have it as a choice
Ampache have also, more or less, the same functions as Sunsonic.
Best of all should be if Asustor had their own alternatives, right now the mobilapp ain't there when it comes to handle multimedia.
If anyone has, or can write, a simple guide for madsonic, apmache or any good alternatives I think a lot of people should be thnakful!
Thank you!

Hi,
Just streaming upnp/dlna on your own network is no problem, the problem is when you want to be able to password-protect it or stream on a public network.
I like the possibility to transcode for my different gadgets, i possibly. Asustors own app can stream one song at a time, but no albums, and for the other apps in store you need to pay if you want full functonality. I was hoping for a good enough, free of charge, built in or installable app.
