Hi Guys,
New to the forums and new to the world of NAS drives. Unfortunately it has been a very frustrating start. I am hoping if someone can help resolve this issue i am having.
Background:
So after some research into the world of NAS we decided to go with the Asustor Drivestor 2 Pro Model AS3302T and some enterprise grad Seagate Exos HDD for home media and personal pics storage.
Opened and installed the HDD into the NAS and booted the device. Installed the ACC (Asustor Control Centre) which updated the ADM to the latest version; set up raid 1 and this wiped the data and booted the device.
The next day when trying to transfer data and install some apps. I found out that the ACC was not recognising the device on the network. For some reason it has disappeared and refused to show up or connect. i did not change any information. After failing to read the NAS drive i get a message on the ACC along the lines of
1. Change your Ethernet Wire/Port on your router
2. Try to install ACC on another pc then try to access NAS
3. Make sure PC and NAS are on the same network
4. Make sure network discovery is enabled
5. Connect Directly to PC
6. Disable Firewall
I tried everything to death and i don't know what else i can do. I looked up all the information in the setup manual and tried all of that as well but to no success. I have tried to look at similar issues on google and youtube and have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but to zero success.
The thing i don't understand is, the NAS does not register a IP on my router via routers DHCP. On the front end all LEDs come on except the network LED indicator.
even when i directly connect the NAS into my PC i see zero network activity on the back of the NAS. Has this device suffered a failure? or am i doing anything wrong?
I would appreciate any suggestions because i have just about hit rock bottom with this device.
this was suppose to be plug and play and boomer friendly!!! arrrggghhh!!!
appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Daniel

Re: Cannot Connect to NAS - Asustor Drivestor 2 Pro AS3302T
Try the rear reset button, https://www.asustor.com/en/knowledge/de ... oup_id=622.
There should be LED activities on the LAN port when both end connected despite the connection established or not. Try replace the cable but if that doesn't work, suggest you open a ticket with Asustor Support as it could be a bad board/connector.
