Your ASUSTOR NAS can be expanded. Use an ASUSTOR NAS compatible with ADM 4.2.4 to easily expand the capacity of your NAS.
The Xpanstor 4 comes with tool-free installation and is its own set of drives that can be put together in a RAID volume.

1. Easy Storage Upgrades
The Xpanstor 4 supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 which doubles speeds from 5 Gbps to 10 Gbps Connect the Xpanstor 4 to an ASUSTOR NAS with USB 3.2 Gen 2 AS54, Lockerstor Gen2, Flashstor, Lockerstor Pro or a Lockerstor R Pro.
The Xpanstor 4 is also backward compatible with NAS devices sporting USB 3.1 Gen 1 at reduced speeds for maximum flexibility.

2. Smart Temperature Control
The fan inside the Xpanstor 4 automatically adjusts speed according to the system temperature.
This allows your NAS to maintain a normal temperature and extend the life of installed hard drives.

3. MyArchive Cold Storage Technology
When files are needed, insert a MyArchive hard drive to read the contents of that drive.
Scheduling for MyArchive drives to automatically mount and dismount drives helps make 3-2-1 backups easy.
