Hi z1022,

This is correct. You should not need HD video encoding to play videos with XBMC.

So the 204TE support all video formats to all clients without then need for transcoding (decoding and encoding dynamically)?

Hi pegasus,

The 204TE supports decoding but not encoding. It is able to play all the formats supported by XBMC.
