arx645 process eating 99% of CPU

Hi guys,

My Sustor CPU constantly works on 99%...
It mainly happened after firmware been updated to the most recent one, - ADM 4.0.4.RR23
Model: AS6604T
Intel® Celeron™ CPU @ 2.00GHz
8.00 GB


process responsible is arx645 - could not find about this process much online...

Anyone had this and managed to solve?

I have never done Full Factory reset and not willing to... (NAS is only around 3months Old)
I use main apps + Plex, nothing Fancy...

Hi,

As I know (so T.B.C.) arx645 is a bitcoin miner coming with some malware
... if it's linked to a malware ... so need to be identified, I don't remember how reset it (because as I know it stay active even after a reset)
... a docker container can also be a provider, so check.

Best is to call A.S.A.P. Asustor support for analysis and solution.
