Please allow Photo Gallery to manual or automatically check the database on metadata changes on pictures.
I did have some issues with dates on some old pictures I imported in Photo Gallery where the date was set on 1/1/2026. I used another tool to set this correct, but the info in Photo Gallery was not updated and there is no way to force this update.
