New and a bit of a Novice

Post by Geno850 »

Excited about joining the Asustor community with my new AS5304T. Still learning and maybe a bit out of my depth. Set up EZ Sync and Dropbox synchronization. Both download every music folder I own with one problem. All folders were transferred successfully but there are no files, just empty folders. Is it a setting somewhere I need to click on? Any help welcome for the newbie on the block

What do you see under ADM web -> File Explorer -> EZ Sync?

ADM > File Explorer > EZ Synch > All of my music folders by artist. Unhappily, when I click on a folder to open files, the folder is empty. I am wondering if there is a flaw on the PC from which I'm downloading to EZ Synch.

mm... It's new for me. Mine is just fine. Did you use Asustor EZ Sync under Windows to upload music, and can you see the task status?

I did indeed use EZ Synch download from Windows. It said task was complete. Also, I still get "Unsafe website" when I log on to my own NAS from Google Chrome as I don't have a certificate yet. Wonder if my security is somehow blocking transfer of actual files. I'll work on that next. Thanks for joining me in the curiosity of it all. :)
