Smarthome gateway, openhab, iobroker

I have several smart devices running in my home, most of them can be combined on the two popular server solutions iobroker and openhab.
Currently I need another OrangePi to run openhab server which consumes energy and needs maintenance.
After some trials I has no success with iobroker but could start openhab on my AS1002T. But this feels slow and is unstable, although the Armada 385 shall outperform the OPi's Allwinner H2+
So I'd be glad seing an app with openhab or, if easier, iobroker
