I've raised a ticket with support: "When a Let's Encrypt certificate fails to renew, I'm unable to find any log file that might contain details about what happened. Are there any log files maintained around certificate maintenance time?"
I've had nothing back other than a pointer to this: https://www.asustor.com/en/online/Colle ... ?topic=324 and a suggestion that I look in the adm System Information -> Log -> System Log. I've already read this "college" article and as I described at the outset I'm unable to find anything logged anywhere when cert renewal fails.
I've given them one final opportunity to tell me conclusively whether certificate renewal failures are logged in any way or if they get swallowed into a black hole. I expect it's the latter.
