I would like to know if there is any news about series 3 release ? It was announced june, is it confirmed ? Cause i'm really interested into this NAS. But if it is postponed (eg: for several month) then i would buy the AS602T.

AS-302T - Noise Level: 33 dB(A)
AS-304T - Noise Level: 24 dB(A)

Does not make a mistake here? If the volume levels are as stated, these devices are not suitable to be placed in a room where there are people.

I do not believe that there is a mistake with the noise level. 24 dBA - 33 dBA is very quiet. Comparable to the volume of a quiet whisper.

I would not like someone whispering to me all through the night in the room. Inaudible is, for example, the Synology DS713 + to the volume 19.2 dB. It still depends on what configuration and what drives the measurements were made. There is a big difference between AS-302T and AS-304T. I wonder why that is.
I would buy AS-302T to my house and now I wonder whether it makes sense.
