I find myself increasingly using the AiRemote App in combination with Kore, the app designed as a remote control specifically for Kodi. I use AiRemote to get into Kodi from the Asustor Portal homescreen and then use Kore for everything within Kodi. Unfortunately, Kore cannot control Asustor Portal because it is only designed to work with the Kodi port(s) but not the Asustor Portal port(s) (or something, I'm terrible at networking terminology).
REQUEST: It would be nice if Asustor took the open-source, Apache-licensed Kore app code (https://github.com/xbmc/Kore) and built on top of it something that connects through the Asustor Portal ports so that one app can control Asustor Portal, Kodi, etc. AND have the Kore interface which is far superior to the AiRemote app. I would fork it and create another app myself but my knowledge of Java and Android app programming is rudimentary at best and this project seems far too advanced for me. Anyone else think the AiRemote app needs a bit of an update?
P.S. at the very least, PLEASE give the user an option to turn off vibrate on key press!
Update AiRemote App
