It would be useful display to see in settings the connected LAN speed rather than just "connected (autoselect)" and also to be able to force the speed/mode in the network features. It seems to only negotiate 100Mb/s on my GbE switch which is not good/fast.
Also, it would be nice to see the serial no's of the disks so I could check warranty status without having to power down and pull the disks.
Its also bad that there is no identification on which is disk 1 etc - so when disk 1 dies I have to hope the red-light comes on. Can you explain the layout for the disks on the various models - specifically the AS-608T in my case - perhaps put them into the manuals.
I can do all these on my netgear ultra4 which I'm replacing with the 608T.
Hopefully your v1.1 and so on releases will implement these features and many more. I've switched to asustor as I hope that despite being new to the game, that with the backing of asus behind you, you can innovate and not shaft the existing owners like netgear and others continue to do.
More info on v1.1 features/timescales - and perhaps a published roadmap (we won't hold you too closely to exact dates q1/q2/q3/q4 would be good enough) for upcoming releases - you surely have some ideas of where you're going.

Ability to move icons around on the desktop would be nice too - and to have more than 15 there instead of on a 2nd page - so I could move config items to the LHS and apps to the RHS.
I also can't connect using the AiDownload app on my iPad - it can see it in Autodiscovery but cannot login - says the session might have timed out - even on new logins. Are the usernames/passwords case-sensitive ?

Regarding your AiDownload app issue, could you please disable and then enable Download Center
afterward, try to use AiDownload to connect to NAS, see if this works.

Thanks - sometimes it the simplest things which make a product - but I appreciate it can take time to remove the odd rough edge here/there.
I disabled the dl-ctr app (took me a few mins to work out how) - and aidownload now works fine - will that need doing regularly - say if the nas is re-powered or should it be fine forever now ?
When I was having problems I did something once where I did the manual setup - entered the details and it got stuck trying to connect - e.g. it never finished/timed-out but whenever I shutdown and re-ran the app it went back into the trying again forever. In the end, I had to delete the app and its data and re-download/install it. A timeout would have let me delete the server and try the autodiscover but it just never timed out.
