Hi,
Since I use my Asustor mostly for storage, I wonder if it would be possible to connect and eSATA cable between my computer and the NAS?  Since a eSATA can at least achieve 1.5Gig it's better than the 1Gig ehternet link

NAS is the abbreviation of Network Attached Storage,
The foundation of communication is Network,
thus you can't connect a eSATA cable between your PC and the NAS.
if you want to increase transfer speed, maybe you can refer to Link Aggregation
